Many of us are facing increasing energy bills. For some that means tough choices between eating and heating.
The Positive Energy project is an initiative set up and run through the Good Neighbours Network (GNN) designed to inform and help you with keeping warm, saving money and staying safe in your home.
We are, Stephen and Siobhan, the two Energy Advisors who facilitate the core of the project, we provide both training and resources, including some top tips on how to save energy at home and in this ‘blog’ section we will be creating lots of Positive Energy to engage with you over the coming months.
We regularly attend community events and host information sessions across the Network, and rumour has it, we are gaining a bit of a reputation for delivering with an engaging and light touch approach. We focus on these three areas:
- What exactly is the Priority Services Register and who is eligible?
- The importance of Carbon Monoxide awareness and how to get a free CO monitor
- The Citizen’s Advice Home and Well scheme
If you are interested to find out more, want to invite us to a group meeting or event you are holding, please do get in touch, we would love to come! E:info@goodneighbours.org.uk and why not sign up to our newsletter?
The project is funded via SGN (who provide gas to homes and businesses across Hampshire) and is designed to offer information, advice and support to help you make the best decisions possible to keep warm, stay safe and save money.
