Supporting Local Groups

How the magic works

All groups in the Good Neighbours Network are supported by the professional Hub of the Network. Hub ‘backup’ allows groups to offer consistent  high quality and safe help for all the Good Neighbours clients and referral agencies. Volunteers are active members of their local groups and it is this encouragement and the unique volunteer and client involvement that helps to make the Good Neighbours formula such a success.

Groups benefit from:

  • Cafe style advice & Network events
  • Free publications
  • Free Public and Employers Liability Insurance
  • Free DBS checks for volunteers & safeguarding support
  • Grants – initial start up and new work
  • Training, workshops & conferences
  • Campaigns and information presentations
  • Full range of governance and recruitment resources
  • Website with members access and social media updates
