And the winner is...
Greenview Care Home is owned by Ian Bradford who is a great supporter of his local GN group, Thorngate Village Care Group, including hosting their annual Summer Party in the grounds. The Hampshire Care Awards recognise excellence in adult residential care across Hampshire. Greenview is extremely proud to not only win Care/Nursing Home of the Year but also the Hampshire Care Association Blue Rose Award.
Alton Community Care Long Service Awards
The long service awards are something that the Network is very proud of and this month we are delighted to highlight the remarkable collection of good neighbours at Alton Community Care, who have shown dedication and care to their local community and received 37 long service certificates. There were 28 who received the bronze award 5 to 15 years, six of the silver award 15 to 25 years and three of the gold award awarded for more than 25 years. The group is currently made up of 5 co-ordinators and about 55 volunteer drivers who undertake a 75 journeys each week, covering an incredible 70,000 miles each year!
They are always on the look out for new volunteers.
