We hope it has been a Happy New Year so far, especially as January can be a long old month, we have been out and about visiting groups and sharing some positive energy information so it has been a great start to 2025 for the project.
Early January saw Stephen spreading the Positive Energy message at the lunch club in The Dolphin Pub, run by Botley Neighbourcare. Then he was off to a coffee morning with the Crondall Pump group and ended the month delivering a ‘Lightbulb Moment’ session for Southampton Communicare volunteers. Feedback from one of the ‘Communiteers’ was;’ That was brilliant- really informative’
Meanwhile I headed over to Funtington to visit the very vibrant Good Neighbours group there and held a Positive Energy session, we all enjoyed the most delicious afternoon tea provided by the Funtington Women’s Institute. There were lots of sign-ups to the Priority Services register, it always feels so worthwhile to have helped people to access this support.

Then it was off to Sway Good Neighbours group and Clanfield Voluntary Care group, providing both groups with plenty of take- away information and again help their members to access the assistance they needed. I was humbled by the Good Neighbours from Clanfield receiving long service certificates, one for 35 years!
We have some new energy information cards available, small enough to keep handy in a wallet or car, many have already been snapped up and we are now on the second print run, they are the perfect aid on how to – Keep Warm, Save Money and Stay Safe.
Until next time – Siobhan.
