The Good Neighbours Network Event 2017 was a tremendous success, with over 120 Good Neighbours sharing the day
The event focused on loneliness and mental health, with our keynote speaker, Professor Dame Sue Bailey leading on the subject.
There was an engaging ten minutes on the art of marketing from Max Prangnell and some informative workshops. The Manual Handling Masterclass went down a storm as Ian Bradford manoeuvred our Guru, Angela to the floor in the hands on demonstrations, see photo’s below

The market place was well attended with representatives from NCS ( the National Citizen Service) , Dementia Awareness, Hampshire County Council and the Community Police to name just a few.
The day was packed with interesting and meaningful workshops, talks and demonstrations and the all important opportunity to meet other good neighbours – we thank you all for coming and for the feedback. We are delighted that without exception it was positive and we promise to take on board all the comments and ideas shared.
More than half of you took part in the GNN movie on the day and we plan to upload the ‘movie’ to the website just as soon as it is edited!

The ‘POSH ‘ raffle was a bit of fun and hopefully whoever won will share the moment with us all via a photo which we will put up on the website – another thank you to the Hambledon Vineyard for their support.
The highlight for us at the Hub was the photo call – THANK YOU for donning your t’shirts, getting up on the stage and smiling, wear your t’shirts with pride and keep doing what you do.
I’M A GOOD NEIGHBOUR
